I’ve got 15 years of recruitment experience in the tech sector so bring a huge wealth of knowledge and a deep network to our clients. I’m the CoFounder of Venture Up and I wanted to create a company that was focused on building long term partnerships where we could make a real difference.

Life is short, and when I hang up my recruitment boots I want to know I made some difference – in my case by finding partners awesome talent so they could fulfil their missions and push society to be better. Its why I am so excited by our partnership with the Public Sector – knowing I will be finding talent for projects that are going to touch my families and my friends lives and help people in the UK to lead better lives is just awesome!

I’ve been working in recruitment for nearly 9 years, with experience across a range of industries and job remits & seniorities. Despite this variety, I have always felt that good Recruitment Consultants can adapt, providing they focus on relationship building, understanding and exceeding expectations. I’ve taken that philosophy with me throughout my career, working across retail, construction, finance and IT, and it has done me well so far!

The private sector has gone through a large evolution in recruitment over my tenure in the industry, with a lot of focus on attracting the best and brightest, and understanding that good processes and experiences can be a differentiator when the market is saturated with opportunities. I am keen to bring this knowledge and experience with me to help public sector organisations further stand out as employers of choice, and have an equal opportunity to attract the best candidates

I’ve been working in tech recruitment since 2007. A lot has changed since when I first started! But those 16 years of experience have allowed me to work with every sort of organisation size, and every sort of technical and related roles you can imagine!

Its this experience I bring to my clients. I love what I do – and I am always straight with my clients so you know exactly where you stand in the course of any recruitment campaign. I’m really excited to bring that experience to the public sector, and work on projects that also have a direct impact on my family and friends!

I joined the world of recruitment back in 2015 and initially started in the Social Care sector before moving to Tech recruitment in 2017. I’ve helped organisations across a variety of industries to scale their Tech, Product and Data teams and have always been passionate about providing a truly consultative service to both my clients and candidates whilst working hard to achieve high quality results at speed.

Having supported multiple local authorities with Social Care hires at the beginning of my career and having several friends who work within the Public Sector, I am excited by the opportunity to work in this space again and help organisations who are making a real difference to the world.

Adam has over 5 years working in the tech sector and works on on our Agency side. He has worked with companies across Europe, and at all stages of growth. Because of his experience, he has supported clients on roles not only in the Tech area but also in Go to Market roles such as Marketing and Sales too.

In his spare time, Adam can be found following his belloved Norwich City – win, lose or draw he can be found at Carrow Road!
